Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
- 10 years of experience in managing construction projects related to industrial and/or commercial facilities. Life Science construction experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building.
- Demonstrated expert knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, architectural systems, clean room construction and general building construction & maintenance.
- Proven experience in Project or Group Leadership role with experience in the development and management of a project team.
- Experience in the responding to RFP’s, supporting Client interviews & presentations.
- Ability to think through project and site setup and development while in early design phases to support overall project strategy development.
- Strong working knowledge and background in management of front end estimate development, Project Controls and Procurement strategies and execution.
- Knowledge and familiarity with development of project schedules from Level 1 thru Level 4 detail, include use and operation of scheduling software; Primavera (P6), MS Project or other.
- Familiarity with execution construction projects utilizing LEAN strategies and technologies, including Last Planner System, Target Value Delivery, 5S execution, and off-site manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge in construction project sequencing and ability to utilize 3D technologies such as BIM360, REVIT or other.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE), or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Familiarity in project commissioning and qualification processes of complex systems and project execution strategies.
