As an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer with Jacobs, you’ll join our collaborative Life Sciences team in Indianapolis, IN providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges locally and worldwide.
We have many opportunities for those with an interest in power system planning, renewable energy, power distribution, energy & power solutions, lighting design, fire and life safety systems, or vertical transportation and construction coordination. Under the guidance of professional engineers, architects and other senior technical staff you will provide design services including coordinating with the design of other trades (architectural and engineering).
You’ll also take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.

Here's what you'll need
Qualifications
- Completion of degree in Electrical Engineering
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Basic knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, basic rendering and publishing programs
- Previous internship experience working in a corporate engineering environment
- Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate or on track to obtain
