We’re seeking a Renewable Energy Market Leader to lead siting, permitting, and planning for critical energy infrastructure, renewable energy, and/or energy transformation projects. As the Renewable Energy Market Leader, you will be responsible for the following
- Partner with client accounts managers and sales leaders to connect with clients, share client intel, and upcoming opportunities
- Working with our sales and operations leaders to develop our strategy for industry trade group branding and technical/sales conference strategy, plan, and budgets; then prepare participants for success and follow up on leads
- Develop and present technical publications and presentations appropriate for clients and conferences
- Participate and serve in leadership roles within professional societies, panels, conferences, and external training sessions
- Engage in industry trade groups to identify long-term growth areas and inform strategy
- Track industry trends and disseminate industry intel to cross-functional teams (both strategy/sales and delivery teams).
- Responsible to work collaboratively with sales in achieving gross margin sold targets and operations teams in achieving gross margin delivered targets
- Partner with talent leaders to proactively grow strategic hires.
- Support account growth through increased partnering and elevating market/technical discipline experts.
- Develop innovative solutions that differentiate Jacobs in the market as the “accelerator to a sustainable energy future.”
- Support retention and engagement of talent
- Support the operations team in maintaining key milestones on transformational projects per "as bid" schedule committed to client

Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in natural resources, environmental science, environmental planning, or other related technical degree.
- At least ten years of industry experience.
- Project management/task lead experience with a work history of increasing responsibility for resource planning and/or environmental permitting throughout the US
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations; knowledge of environmental regulatory processes and permit compliance
- Ability to charter and lead a project or task team with a focus on safety, client service, and internal delivery goals
- Ability to foster relationships with large project teams, clients, client contractor staff, and third-party consultants
- Ability to travel occasionally to a client office and travel to project sites
- Master’s degree in natural resources, environmental science, environmental planning, or other related technical degree.
- Experience with the environmental consulting industry managing energy or power infrastructure, renewable energy, linear infrastructure, or other related projects.
- Experience managing projects regulated by federal agencies like US Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, and US Army Corps of Engineers.
- Knowledge of the renewable market in Canada, including understanding of Canadian provincial and federal regulations and agencies.
