Your Impact
We are focused on cleaning up our communities today to improve tomorrow. As a Senior Air Quality Modeler, you will oversee projects on air dispersion modeling in air permitting. You will serve as a technical specialist and lead for our Air Permitting, Modeling, Monitoring, and Reporting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with local and global experts to ensure Jacobs provides best practice solutions to clients.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality reports and presentations to clients' technical and senior leadership in accordance with Jacobs' quality process.
- Apply your technical experience to develop delivery strategies and develop client relationships while championing safety, quality, and the well-being of your team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or other closely related technical degree.
- Professional air quality project experience, including permitting, modeling, monitoring, and reporting (preferably in consulting).
- A minimum of five years of air quality dispersion modeling using AERMOD.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous development and active engagement in professional networks, company communities of practice groups, or similar.
Ideal Qualifications
- Master's degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or other closely related technical degree.
- Professional Engineer or Project Management Professional (PE or PMP) or ability to obtain and maintain.
- Experience using HARP2 for air quality health risk assessments.
