What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Wastewater Process Engineer position at Jacobs?

We are looking for a driven and curious Senior Process Engineer to work on wastewater projects. As a Senior Process Engineer on our team, you will work with a core group of wastewater engineers and designers on project pursuits, studies, designs, and field assignments to deliver innovative solutions to challenging technical problems that our clients face. You will work collaboratively with our team to complete the following :
- Evaluation and selection of treatment processes, process evaluations, and process equipment selection
- Serve as technical support for future project pursuits and proposal development
- Interacting with clients to learn and provide solutions to their problems
- Development of facility layouts and process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
- Development of construction documents, including drawings and specifications
- Data analysis and heat and material balances
- Technical report writing
- Field inspection of mechanical equipment
You will also use your leadership skills to work with diverse, technical teams to deliver challenging projects while serving and developing clients across the United States and internationally. Jacobs has a strong technical water / wastewater treatment background, and you will have the opportunity to connect to and work with our technical experts across the company.
