Our team is experiencing exciting growth within our established practice, and we have a need for Sr. Construction Inspectors to join our team. You’ll inspect construction methods and workmanship to ensure that contractors build facilities and associated infrastructure in accordance with plans and specifications. You will perform work both independently on assignments and as part of a team; however, all unusual issues and questions will be referred to the Project Manager or designee.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to
- Observe and inspect ongoing construction work is in accordance with contract documents
- Review plans and specifications to ensure that work is in compliant with plans and specifications
- Review contractors’ pay applications and recommend for approval actual work completed to the client
- Inspect traffic control setup and devices to ensure compliance with approved traffic control plans
- Ensure work is executed safely and in accordance with contractors’ approved work plans
- Ensure work is compliant with any permit/agreement conditions
- Ensure work is coordinated and delivered in accordance with approved construction schedule
- Validate safety certifiable items are installed per contract where applicable
- Maintain a daily report of work in progress, including photographic documentation and status of completion and upload Daily Inspection Reports daily
- Discusses construction related issues with Project Manager/CM Team and/or client contact
- Performs other job responsibilities as assigned

Here's what you'll need
- High School diploma
- 10 years combined experience in materials and construction inspection
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings.
- Valid certifications such as ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I, HDOT Asphalt Field Level 1, HDOT Soils and Aggregate Construction
- Proficient in MS Office Suites and MS Project
- A valid State’s driver’s license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle background check
- Intermediate mathematical skills to perform field calculations
- Ability to gather and understand technical data for purposes of generating technical reports
- Ability to obtain a valid AOA airport credential
