Your Day to Day
- Collaborate with company executives to prepare time sensitive marketing proposals.
- Write and edit proposals and corporate communication pieces.
- Serve as central point of contact for coordinating and combining proposal drafts from all proposal team contributors. Rewrite, edit and proofread proposal drafts to ensure materials meet appropriate style standards, are consistent in voice and are free of grammar and spelling errors.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and graphic design staff to conceptualize, produce and integrate visually appealing, informative graphics and illustrations.
- Read and interpret Requests for Proposals to identify critical items required for response.
- Align with comprehensive marketing strategy to assist business development efforts.
- Identify potential marketing and advertising programs to support the business plan.
- Ensure collateral marketing materials are accurate and appropriate for corporate image.
- Recommend growth strategies as well as identify areas for improvement.
- Produce social media as part of corporate communications plan.
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
How You Contribute
- Writing concise and compelling copy.
- Prioritizing and organizing multiple work assignments to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Maintaining effective relationships with Project Executives, Project Managers and other stakeholders in the business development process.
- Understanding customer needs and effectively articulating them during the process.
- Developing effective proposals, presentations and collateral materials that meet RFP requirements and exceed owner expectations.
- Coordinating proposal teams and proposal development activities.
Education & Experience
- Undergraduate degree in journalism. communications, marketing, or
related field. - Five or more years in proposal writing and editing or related experience
- Prior experience in estimating and/or construction environments preferred, not required
