What are the responsibilities and job description for the HSE Auditor position at Jacobus Energy Mobile Fueling?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in compliance reviews, risk assessments and other safety assessments to support HSE management.
- Maintain relevant HSE audits and documentation of audits for all areas within the company.
- Provide assistance with all HSE meetings and training as needed.
- Assist in the compliance of DOT/CMV/Hazmat laws and regulations.
- Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
- Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe work practices and corrects hazards immediately.
- Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies.
- Promote incident prevention.
- Assist in administering and maintaining all HSE compliance programs.
- Comply with all HSE procedures and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong teamwork and flexibility to accomplish goals and department deadlines.
- Willing to travel 50-80% of the time.
- Must possess a high school diploma.
- Minimum of 5 years of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures experience.
- Experience and knowledge on computer software including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Outlook, and power point presentation. Experience in Lytx and Tenstreet is a plus.
