SHIFTS ARE 4am - 12pm
Jacqueline's Bakery Suntree in Melbourne, FL is looking for Pastry Bakers to join our strong team.
Position is in Suntree (6977 N. Wickham Rd).
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF PASTRY BAKER
- Prepare French Pastries (cakes, tartlets, choux pastry, chocolates, meringues, jams)
- Prepare French Viennoiseries (yeast-leavened doughs)
- Mix and bake batters from scratch daily, according to recipes or orders
- Prepare and bake French Pastries
- Produce a variety of custards and pastry creams
SKILLS
- Meticulous & Punctual
- High Standard of Work Ethic
- Creative thinker
- Operate machinery in bakery : oven, mixers, sheeter, proofer
- Calculate production quantities, chart and deal with numbers on a daily basis
- Ensure quality of products (taste, odor & appearance)
- Work with speed, accuracy, diligence & impeccable hygiene
- Oversee organization and presentation of baked goods in display cases
- Label and organize product in storage areas
Qualifications
- 2 Years Baking Experience Minimum
- Knowledge of French Baking Methods a plus
- Mastery of baking techniques (emphasis on French techniques)
$15.00/hours to $25.00 or more, depending on experience.
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00 - $18.00/hour.
