Responsibilities
- Design and create floral arrangements for various events and everyday orders.
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs and preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of current floral trends and techniques to ensure innovative designs.
- Manage inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems for processing sales transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their orders.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and visually appealing retail space.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts for accurate pricing and inventory management.
- Experience with cash registers and POS systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 28 per week
