Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with exposure to Virtual Power Plants (VPP) and energy management systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and knowledge of Salesforce platforms, with a focus on analyzing, designing, and optimizing systems to support energy solutions and VPP operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs related to Salesforce and VPP operations.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical and functional specifications.
- Salesforce Administration & Optimization:
- Configure and customize Salesforce modules to align with business processes.
- Create reports, dashboards, workflows, and process automation to enhance productivity.
- Ensure integration between Salesforce and other systems supporting VPPs.
- Support Virtual Power Plant Operations:
- Provide insights and support for VPP-related business processes such as demand forecasting, load balancing, and asset management.
- Work closely with energy teams to ensure Salesforce solutions support VPP workflows effectively.
- Analyze data from connected devices, assets, and systems to identify optimization opportunities.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify inefficiencies in current systems and recommend Salesforce-driven improvements to streamline operations.
- Lead initiatives to improve data accuracy, reporting capabilities, and user adoption.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Conduct training sessions and provide documentation for end-users to maximize system utilization.
- Compliance & Data Management:
- Ensure that all Salesforce implementations align with regulatory requirements and data governance policies.
- Maintain data integrity and security within Salesforce and integrated systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3 years as a Salesforce BSA or similar role.
- Exposure to Virtual Power Plants, energy management, or IoT integration is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Energy & Utilities Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration.
- Familiarity with APIs, ETL tools, and data integration techniques.
- Understanding of VPP platforms, distributed energy resources (DERs), and energy storage systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Consultant).
- Experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems, demand response, or grid-scale energy solutions.
