Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating towing services and dispatching operators efficiently and timely. This is a weekend position, 12hr shifts for every Saturday and Sunday. Optional overtime Monday- Friday.
Duties:
- Analyze towing / recovery needs to optimize efficiency
- Utilize GIS and dispatching software to schedule the service needed
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain professionalism and excellent phone etiquette when communicating with drivers and customers
- Familiarity with computers and phones
- Dispatch drivers, schedule services, and coordinate other related services.
Requirements:
- Experience in dispatching, customer service or related field
- Strong analytical skills to assess towing or recovery needs effectively
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Proficiency in using computer software systems for dispatching tasks and other office job duties
-Ability to be on call in a weather emergency and work some major holiday's
-Basic Knowledge of vehicles
- Ability to work Monday-Friday for training
-Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a drug test
