Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dispatcher to join our team.
Duties
- Assess the situation of disabled or damaged vehicles and determine the best towing method.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including data entry of job details into the system.
- Collaborate with dispatchers for effective fleet management and transportation planning.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while on duty.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during stressful situations.
Experience
- Previous experience in dispatching or related fields.
- Familiarity with dispatching, fleet management, and logistics is a plus.
- Proficiency in using software such DAT
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, as well as GIS systems, can enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions while on the job.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
