Responsibilities
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of items.
- Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while considering traffic patterns and road conditions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during drop-offs.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Experience in route driving and knowledge of local roads is beneficial.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks related to moving goods.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations is a plus but not required.
