Light Machine Operators & Manufacturing Workers - 2nd Shift FT

Company Description: Jaeger USA, Inc. manufactures and sells custom private label components for the Construction Industry, and Shoe, Leather, & Textile Industries, as well as Toll Coating Capabilities.
Job Summary: Jaeger currently has 2 second shift positions open for immediate employment. The Light Machine Operator would run the shrink tunnel packaging line, and/or a rewinder, converting large master rolls of waterproof membrane to log rolls, while the Manufacturing Worker position would work in the Corners and Accessories Area, thermo forming corners, die cutting corners & accessories, or sheeting waterproof membrane. Other duties may include general manufacturing work that may involve job responsibilities throughout the facility, including packing product.
Responsibilities:
- Show up every day on time, we'll train you
- Perform various duties as assigned.
- Maintain all safety standards.
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
- Understand and follow product specific instructions to generate custom items.
- Pick and confirm orders efficiently and accurately.
- Pack orders efficiently and correctly to prevent damage.
- Ticket or label orders as specified.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout shift and at the end of the shift.
- Report any conditions that need attention to the appropriate manager.
- Keep accurate records of material and equipment parameters.
- Learn the safety features of the machine.
- Read work orders and verify that the correct material is used.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
- Must have basic math skills
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Must be able to work as part of a team to increase efficiency and accuracy
