This is a part-time position 9 am-3:30 pm (12 hours per week). Weekends and holidays are required. Dementia/Memory Care experience preferred but will train the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate group activities and dementia-friendly sensory programs
Encourage activity involvement and chart attendance
Assist in keeping activity supplies clean and organized
Assist with 1 on 1 activities, transport residents to and from activities
Provide support during mealtimes
Assist with outings and special events and other assigned duties
Qualifications:
Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia and special needs is a plus (Willing to train the right candidate)
Ability to self-motivate
Flexible with schedule, availability between 8am-8 pm, alternating weekends and holidays are required.
