Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree required, Doctorate degree preferred
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
- Experience/knowledge with an EMR software is preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collects and records patient care data that follows format and guidelines of the patient care service, regulatory agencies, and third-party payers.
- Records daily billing and follows department guidelines for productivity.
- Prepares for evaluations in accordance with department policies/procedures and standards of practice.
- Identifies need for consultations and/or refers the patient to another health care professional or health care services.
- Provides education/training to patients and/or patient support systems.
