Athletic Trainer
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Athletic Trainer to provide athletic training services and administrative tasks to persons and organizations affiliated with JAG Athletic Training outreach athletic training contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide athletic training services for events and competitions
- Coordinate, manage, and implement medical and risk management for athletes, including preventative care and emergency care
- Document injuries, illnesses, treatment, and rehabilitation in adherence with JAG Athletic Training policy and state of licensure professional practice standards
- Collaborate with other JAG professionals and refer athletes for services when needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-approved program
- BOC certification
- Licensed by the State of New York as an Athletic Trainer
- Current BLS certification
- Maintain Personal Liability Insurance
Working Conditions:
The Athletic Trainer will work in various settings, including athletic events and competition venues. The ability to adapt to fluid situations and maintain flexibility is essential.
