What are the responsibilities and job description for the Upper Extremity Rehabilitation Professional position at JAG Physical Therapy?
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and interventions for patients with post-surgical and non-surgical Upper Extremity diagnoses. Fabricate custom orthoses for patients with various orthopedic upper extremity diagnoses. Collect and record patient care data that follows format and guidelines of the patient care service, regulatory agencies and third party payers which reflects an understanding of reimbursement systems and their impact on patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree required, Doctorate degree preferred. Licensed Occupational Therapist. Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred, but not required. 1 year(s) professional OT experience. Excellent oral, written communication. Strong clinical decision-making skills. Basic computer skills. Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision. Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
