Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sports Cards Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service and a drive to meet sales goals. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in buying, selling, and trading sports cards.
- Provide knowledgeable advice about sports card trends, valuations, and collectibles.
- Build strong relationships with customers to ensure a loyal client base.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, card releases, and rare collectibles.
- Assist in planning and executing store events or card shows.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively communicate with customers.
- Stock shelves and ensure that merchandise is displayed neatly and attractively.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment.
- Provide assistance in resolving customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom areas.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and basic math skills is essential for this role.
- Strong knowledge of sports cards, trading cards, and collectibles
- Strong collaboration skills are necessary for working effectively within a team environment.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new products and sales techniques will be highly valued.
