The Role:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Team of Prep Cooks. The Prep Cook is the foundation for each dish that is delivered. They work with precision and demonstrate a high level of respect for the ingredient and the process. They are the ambassadors for the recipe and execute with excellence every shift.

- Managing food production and upholding the integrity of the recipe.
- Verifying quality product based on the ingredients, spec lists, and recipe.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and product, following all brand standard procedures.
- Assist with event prep and execution.
- Maintains a clean and organized station.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with the team and communicates effectively.
- Ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
- Work each shift with a safety mindset. Be proactive regarding the front of the house and back of the house safety (food safety, potential hazards for employees or Guests)
Who We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- Previous experience as a prep cook, line cook, or similar role is expected. (Experience with smoked meats is a bonus!)
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.
- Ability to understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques and with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Exceptional culinary skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
Requirements:
- Food service experience in a high-volume environment required (1-2 years)
- Participate in Food Safety training. ServSafe certification is a plus.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Interested in a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Confident with technology and point of sales systems (KDS).
- Willing to learn and grow in the role.
