Responsibilities
-
Perform basic maintenance on the vehicles
-
Lube-oil-filter, rotate tires, headlights, wipers, transmission service, radiator flush, air filters, etc.
- Communication with Service Advisors and customers
-
Perform 27- or 12-point safety inspections
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Note work needed and estimate costs
- Keep needed supplies stocked
- Assist Porter when needed
- Assist Technicians when needed
- Attend training and shop meetings
Qualifications

Some technical background preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Previous experience or training in a related position
- Organized and able to work unsupervised
- Clean, neat professional appearance
- Professional attitude
- Valid Illinois driver's license and clean driving record
Hours
Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
