Automotive Transport Driver

Join the Crown Automotive Team as a Transport Driver for Jaguar Land Rover St. Petersburg!  As an Automotive Transport Driver, you will be responsible for driving a truck with trailer when needed or a customer car locally.   No CDL Required. No Overnights - Local Runs Only!   Hourly Pay Rate : $20 / hr  PLUS Bonus   Experience Required :

• At least ONE year's experience as an automotive transport driver is preferred

Job Duties :

Handles basic maintenance of the truck and trailer including filling tank with diesel, checking oil, and grease hubs keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed.

Keeps an accurate log of deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry.

Helps maintain the professional appearance of the vehicles being transported.

Maintains required state, federal and Crown Automotive logs as required by law and employee handbook.

Communicates any problems during pick up or delivery immediately to Store Managers.

Attends department meetings as requested.

Reports any safety issues immediately to management.

Complies with all policies as described in the Crown Employee Handbook.
