Armed Security Guard

• Protect clients' assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Patrol and monitor activities on the premises regularly to discourage criminals.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Remove trespassers or unwanted individuals from the property.
• Contact the relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs.
• Detain perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive.
• Report to supervisors on a regular basis.
• Record any suspicious activities to the supervisor.
• Ensure that your uniform remains clean and well-maintained, must be worn at all times while on-duty.
• Monitor and access control of building entrances and gates.
• Monitor alarm systems or surveillance cameras and operate equipment.
• Use communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner.

Required Skills

• At least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• A United States citizen or resident alien.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Higher education and Certifications, a plus.
• Relevant weapons license and training.
• Current on your armed certification or renewable.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols, a plus.
• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant experience.
• First aid/CPR, a plus.
• Attention to detail with integrity.
• Must be punctual and reliable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
