Qualifications:
- Good and effective communication skills
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate activities in pressing situations
- Good time management skills to complete tasks and meet set targets
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A respectable knowledge of food handling and environmental sanitation standards
- At least 3 years of work experience as a line cook in any good and reputable restaurant.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs and push 100 lbs
Duties, tasks, and responsibilities:
- Ensure ingredients are properly kept at appropriate temperature
- Ensure availability and quality of ingredients at all times
- Clean work equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas
- Prepare food stuff according to instructions from customer and supervisor order
- Package prepared foods to fit customer’s need
- Prepare for cooking process by cutting, washing, peeling, and cutting required foods
- Report damaged equipment and low supplies to supervisors ? Prepare dishes for plating
- Wash all plates, containers and utensils used and maintain work area cleaned at all times
