Jaime Barron, PC is a mid-size law firm focusing solely on the practice of Immigration Law. Our firm opened almost 25 years ago and has offices in Texas, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington (state). With a growing practice, we have available positions for Immigration Attorney in the DMV-area offices located in Falls Church, Virginia and Rockville, Maryland.

Role Description
These are full-time on-site roles as an Immigration Attorney at Jaime Barron, P.C.'s offices located in either Falls Church, VA or Rockville, Maryland.
Responsibilities:
• Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and immigration agencies.
• Conduct consultations and provide legal strategy to clients.
• Prepare and review filings for family-based petitions, waivers, adjustment of status, asylum, and other forms of relief.
• Prepare and revise court documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Conduct legal research to support case development and strategy.
• Keep abreast of legislative changes and judicial case law impacting immigration.
• Collaborate with legal assistants and paralegals to ensure high-quality case management.
• Market the firm's services and work one Saturday a month on a rotational basis.
Qualifications:
• J.D. or L.L.M. from an ABA Accredited Law School is required.
• Active Bar License in Good Standing from any U.S. State or Puerto Rico is required (preference given to MD, VA, or DC).
• Spanish fluency is required.
• Strong writing, organizational and project management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client interaction skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Strong commitment to immigrant rights and social justice.
• Prior experience in family-based immigration, humanitarian relief, or removal defense preferred—but not required.
