SUMMARY
· Entry- level role who assists sales, customer service and marketing at Jain Farm Fresh Frozen Ingredient Division - Ready to Eat (RTE), Individual Quickly Frozen (IQF) products.
- Work with the Vice President, of Sales and Marketing to support the company’s strategy to grow volume and revenue for specialty IQF vegetables. Help Identify new markets and target customers that Jain Farm Fresh Foods Inc. Individual should approach with our value-added RTE Process to include Reduced Moisture, Fire Roasted, and Blends of IQF Vegetables. This can include food service, commissary, and industrial accounts. Learn to review customer specifications with our QA department. Help Monitor contracts throughout the year to ensure that all contracted pounds are shipped. Learn to spot sales where appropriate. Work with all Peer Teams to optimize operations and plan vegetable production. Support CS on frontline business with active orders, pricing, and forecasting. Work with the QA and Technical Team to develop new products and resolve any customer issues. May attend Trade Shows and C conventions to meet existing and potential new customers to generate new sales. Actively work with the Sales Team to effectively deliver Jain Farm Fresh Foods Inc.’s current Fiscal Year goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Identify, Support and Develop New Business Opportunities
- Prospect as directed to uncover potential target accounts that could benefit from RTE vegetables and other value-added processing (fire roasting, reduced moisture, blended vegetables, seasoned, organic etc).
- Learn to penetrate multiple points of contact with key customers.
- Learn to identify new customers - Cold call and network within the territory by adding new customers based on the definition of what a good customer is for JFFI products and growth strategy.
- Learn to develop appropriate formulations that solve customer needs.
- Learn and the JFFI selling process
- Learn and Support Customer Service – order entry, price confirmation, order process and allocate inventory to orders.
· Conduct and summarize research with Marketing that might include category development, trend spotting, competitive landscape etc.
- Learn to Develop relationships with all key influencers at accounts including R&D, Marketing, Purchasing and others.
- Assist in preparing presentations as required on the benefits of Jain Farm Fresh Food business that includes RTE vegetables and gain knowledge of other global business units and parent company with regards to other Jain entities, sustainability, and global footprint.
- Provide targeted demonstrations that highlight the features/benefits and value of Jain Farm Fresh RTE Vegetables
- Prepare and communicate product, pricing, and other information to support the selling process.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· B.S. Food Science, Agriculture Business, Culinary or Hospitality preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as ratios, production rates, and lbs. per hour. Ability to apply mathematical concepts.
· Strong math skills for calculating percentages for pricing, forecasting, and technical formula problem-solving.
Knowledge, Growth, Skills
· Strong interpersonal, persuasive, negotiating, and networking skills.
· Ability to understand and discuss technical product information with PhD, Masters, and other level food scientists.
· Microsoft Office Suite skills.
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS
· To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software, Spreadsheet, Database, Email, and Word Processing software.

CERTIFICATES/ WORK EXPERIENCE
Working toward a bachelor’s degree, graduating in Food Science is a plus, Culinary, and Agriculture-related fields of study or equivalent work experience.
· Preferred - Culinary or R&D.
· Food service, Commissary, and Contract Feeding a plus.
· Specialty Grocery Markets (Mexican) a plus
· Pizza, Sandwich, and Regional Chain experience a plus
· Distributor relationships

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help prepare and submit regular forecasts as needed.
- May attend key tradeshows in the territory, and the major national shows (RCA, IFT, AFFI)
- Assist in completing other reports or presentations as requested for internal use.
- Help maintain and internally communicate projects with customers.
- Learn to develop and expand relationships by introducing customers to internal teams that are content experts.
