We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll, Accounting, and HR Clerk to join our dynamic team at JAJ Corporate HQ. This dual role position provides administrative support to the Human Resources and Accounting teams, ensuring smooth and efficient payroll operations, accounting tasks, and HR Processes.
This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to build their skills and gain experience in payroll administration, accounting functions, and human resources. Youll play a crucial role in supporting our employees and maintaining operational excellence across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Duties (50% of Schedule):
- Process vendor invoices for freight, utilities, and other services as assigned.
- Assist with daily customer deposits and bank reconciliations.
- Handle and distribute incoming mail for the accounting department.
- Perform data entry, cleanup, and other accounting-related projects.
HR Duties (50% of Schedule):
Payroll Assistance:
- Audit timecards for accuracy and support the monthly payroll processing cycle.
- Assist in setting up payroll information for new hires, including tax and address updates.
- Coordinate with employees and managers to resolve payroll and timekeeping discrepancies.
- Reconcile benefit billing and update payroll processes as needed.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate and organized records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Assist in preparing and distributing reports, metrics, and documentation related to HR and payroll activities.
- Organize and maintain personnel files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
- Respond to employee inquiries about timekeeping, benefits, and payroll processes.
HR & Safety Operations:
- Assist with onboarding activities, including employment verification and new hire documentation.
- Schedule interviews, recruitment meetings, and track hiring decisions.
- Help coordinate employee engagement events, recognition programs, and company newsletters.
- Maintain and update training content in the Learning Management System (LMS) for development, leadership, and safety.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods while performing desk-related tasks.
- Frequent walking and movement throughout the office environment.
- Regular typing and operation of office equipment.
- Moderate noise levels with occasional interruptions.
- Adherence to safety guidelines, including ergonomic practices and PPE use.
Qualifications
Required:
