Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented On-Site Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of property activities, maintaining high occupancy rates, and providing excellent customer service to residents. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a solid understanding of property management practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant relations and maintenance requests.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Handle data entry tasks related to tenant applications, leases, and maintenance records.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
- Assist with the administration of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations as applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of all legal documents and correspondence related to property management.
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Implement conflict management strategies to resolve tenant disputes effectively.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the property.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with LIHTC regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is highly desirable.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records.
- Previous experience in legal administrative tasks related to real estate is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with tenants and staff.
