Private In-Home Caregiver

JaLaMar Compassionate Caregivers is a new agency coming from Wisconsin. The owner has over 24 years of experience in the field and is very dedicated as well as loyal to the field. We are a point- of- care agency and focus on the care of our clients not only non medically but emotionally and physically as well.

Responsibilities:
- Assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication reminders
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by following established protocols and resident rights
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Implement behavior management systems to support individuals with autism or other special needs
- Collaborate with social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving, social work, or childcare is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 36 per week
