Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in PIP arbitration including NJ fee schedule (PIP), CPT Codes and PIP Arbitration demands/hearings.
- Ability to manage workload, juggle multiple activities, and work under pressure in a fast-paced office setting with a positive attitude
- Familiarity with Forthright and NJ no-fault law
- Excellent secretarial and organization skills
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and interact well with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong case management experience including reviewing files, uploading and filing arbitration statements and submissions, and fee scheduling
Responsibilities
- Familiarity with PIP arbitration, billing, NJ fee schedule, file review, documents on Forthright, uploading and filing arbitration statements and submissions, and fee scheduling, CPT codes
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, law firms, medical providers, insurance adjusters
- Organize client file, track progress, maintain deadlines, medical record gathering and tracking
- Monitor deadlines and maintain calendar (meetings, depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, other important dates)
- Manage and maintain case files, ensuring materials are organized, accessible, and up to date with regular client contact
- Provide administrative support to attorneys to enhance law office
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff members
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of the legal profession in all interactions and tasks
