ASSISTANT DIRECTOR ENGINEERING

- The Assistant Director of Engineering will provide support to the Director of Engineering in all aspects of the physical plant, and all buildings that are under the scope of Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.
- Overseeing staff and activities of General Maintenance and coordinating o / s contracts as required. Developing and implementing performance improvement programs. Guiding staff in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating services.
- Serving as the engineering subject matter expert, using professional knowledge and experience to troubleshoot site specific issues, including plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, pneumatics, and other related systems.
- Building and maintaining productive work relationships with staff, management and leadership resources to operational departments ensuring optimal collaborative care and service.
- Developing and implementing performance improvement programs.
- Guiding staff in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating services.
