What You Will Do-
- Responsible for overseeing and directing daily safety practices and team compliance with safety practices in the Austin & San Antonio region.
- Reviewing, updating, and implementing safety policies and procedures, as needed.
- Sustain a consistent field presence to assess safety gaps and implementation of established programs.
- Maintain safety records associated with the duties defined.
- Track and report out on established Safety Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Perform inventory and inspection of safety equipment such as fire protection equipment, PPE, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, etc.
- Audit safety inspection program. Follow up on issues identified during the inspections to make sure they are resolved.
- Perform site security inspections and correct any gaps identified.
- Schedule and organize emergency response drills.
- Perform contractor safety orientations.
- Maintain inventory and order safety supplies & equipment.
- Serve on the emergency response team.
- Other duties as assigned.
