What are the responsibilities and job description for the INSPECTOR position at Jamak Fabrication?
Summary
The Inspector is an entry level position in the molding department. Personnel hired into this position are trained on the inspection of a multiple parts manufactured in the molding department.
Job Responsibilities
- Follow direction provided by Inspection Leader
- Report daily production accurately
- Able to distinguish between good and defective parts
- Follow work instructions to safely and efficiently complete production
- Maintain good efficiency and quality levels
- Continuous use of hands
- Must have the ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Report to work as scheduled and on time
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Must be safety conscience
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and sit or stand for long periods of time
- Must have good hand and eye coordination, good eyesight, corrective lens acceptable
- Must be able to read/write English and make simple math calculations
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to work as a team member
- Must have a willingness to cross train on multiple processes
- Must be able to work in a hot, dusty environment
Payrate / Hours
- Starting Payrate - $14.00/hr
- $0.50 increase with completion of training & 90-days
- 1st shift 7am – 3:30pm
- 2nd shift 3pm – 11:30pm w/ $1.00 shift differential
- 3rd shift 11pm-7:30am w/ $2.00 shift differential
