The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for inventory management and maintaining store standards.
Duties
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock ordering, receiving, and organization.
- Train and develop staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and store policies.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor sales performance and assist in implementing strategies to improve results.
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment that aligns with company standards.
- Collaborate with the store manager on shift management and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in store management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in math for handling transactions and inventory calculations.
- Experience in wireless sales is a plus but not required.
- Ability to manage inventory effectively while minimizing losses.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
