What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baking Assistant position at JAMBETOS?
Jambeto's in Stafford, TX is looking for one baking assistant to join our team. We are located at 609 Dulles Ave Suite 750. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged.
Responsibilities
Looking for a kitchen assistant to help with pastries, breads, and other baked goods!
Primary duties would include:
- Using bakery machinery to process doughs
- Handling doughs and brioches and forming them into rolls, braided loaves, etc.
- Making empanadas
Other secondary duties include:
- Making, baking, and icing cupcakes
- Making cake pops
- Stocking displays with baked goods
- Helping out with other kitchen duties including packaging, cleaning, and whatever needs arise.
Qualifications
- Prior working experience preferred but not required. This can be a good entry-level position.
This position is a part-time position. Hours are flexible. If more hours are desired, the member's responsibilities could be expanded to include cashier and/or prep/line cook duties.
POTENTIAL BONUS: If the applicant stays for 90 days and works 20 hours per week, the applicant may be eligible to receive a $500 bonus. The applicant must be hired by 3/31/22.
