What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at JAMBETOS?
We are looking for friendly, energetic people to take care of our dear customers. The Counter Attendant team member takes ownership of the front of our bakery/cafe by creating a warm atmosphere in greeting customers, taking their orders, and ensuring they have a satisfactory experience in terms of service and food. The Counter Attendant will also ensure that our guests are in a clean and attractive dining area. The position is also flexible - some of our counter attendants have transitioned into being cooks or bakers or all of the above!
Job Duties Include:
- Greeting customers and taking orders
- Communicating and expediting orders to the kitchen
- Preparing and plating simple menu items
- Ensuring a clean front of house
- Arranging and stocking baked goods and foods in the display areas
- Helping out kitchen staff
Part-time or full-time (hours are also flexible).
POTENTIAL BONUS: If the applicant stays for 90 days and works 20 hours per week, the applicant may be eligible to receive a $500 bonus. The applicant must be hired by 3/31/22.
