What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Assistant position at JAMBETOS?
Jambetos in Stafford, TX is looking for one kitchen assistant to join our 9 person strong team. We are located on 609 Dulles Ave Suite 750. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.
Responsibilities (may include all or some of the following depending on skill set)
- Preparing and plating simple menu items
- Stir-frying, deep-frying, sautéeing, cooking
- Arranging and stocking inventory and items
- Producing empanadas and eggrolls
- Handling dough by hand and machinery
- Prepping vegetables by peeling and cutting with knives and utensils
- Using food processing machinery
- Cleaning designated areas, equipment, and utensils
- Assisting the team with other various tasks
Qualifications
- Food Handler's License (preferred)
- Experience in a commercial kitchen (preferred)
Part-time positions are available with full-time employment as a possibility. Hours are flexible.
POTENTIAL BONUS: If the applicant stays for 90 days and works 20 hours per week, the applicant may be eligible to receive a $500 bonus. The applicant must be hired by 3/31/22.
