Distribution Manager

The Distribution Manager manages and deploys the operational strategy, business processes and systems for overall distribution operations, including order fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management and transportation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Communicate and monitor production measurement metrics.

· Sets performance targets as the team and individual level for all distribution-related functions that align with the company objectives and are withing regulatory guidelines.

· Utilizes data driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify deficiencies and develop optimization strategies.

· Troubleshoots and resolves escalated operational issues.

· Ensures all operations adhere to industry safety protocols and comply with governmental regulations.

· Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met.

· Adheres to approved budget.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Training & Experience):

· Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· 5 years of experience

· 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.

· Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to give directions to and gain compliance from assigned staff.
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to maintain good planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to use computer hardware, various software programs and technologies, including word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Ability to maintain good health and physical condition sufficient to permit the full performance of the duties of the position.
• Ability to maintain a good and positive working relationship with all co-workers and other contacts.
• Required to comply with all JAMCO’s policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed inside an office working closely with others and alone with light traveling required. Work involves rotating shifts and working extended workdays outside the regular working hours and on-call status; Work requires simple grasping, standing, sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, walking, carrying up to 15 pounds, and light lifting under 24 pounds. The ability to see, write, count, read, identify shade of colors, and hearing is needed to perform essential functions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
