Landscaper

Job Overview:

Landscaper with experience.

Full time position, season starts March 25' to December. (Winter work offered, to be discussed)

Job Role:

• You'll be working within a team to help build all aspects of new gardens. From marking out, ground prep' / grading, planting, new patios, steps, lighting, mulching. All aspects from start to finish
• We carry out no weekly maintenance
• Operate various tools and equipment, including: heavy equipment
• To have experience and know how to prepare areas for patios, planting and lawns.
• Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use experience to solve unplanned complications.
• Ensure that all installation work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards.
• To be professional at all times and carry out all work to the highest standards.
• You will be mostly driving in your own vehicle to / from site.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of hard / soft landscaping (not grass cutting).
• Knowledge and experience with large landscape machinery (Excavator, tractor, dump truck operation etc)
• Knowledge of establishing levels and grades.
• Basic knowledge and experience of carpentry, including Pergolas and decks.
• Knowledge and experience building dry stack natural stone walls.
• Hold current valid NH drivers license.
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment.
• Ability to work well with landscape team and communication skills with clients.
• Punctual, conscientious and dependable.
• Job type: Full time position March > December, 5 days per week overtime when offered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour rising to $35.00 after 6 month review.

James Brewer Garden Design was established in England 1995. We design, plan and create unique high quality gardens of all sizes mostly around the Dover NH area.

2 gardens were featured ast year in New Hampshire Magazine, we've another garden being featured this year.

As we continue to grow and establish ourselves as the best choice for clients to receive the highest quality experience from consultation to completion, we are looking for another landscaper to join our team. You must have experience, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for landscape construction.

Ideal age between 20 and 25. You will be working with other team members and take lots of satisfaction working within a team, helping to turn plans into reality and leaving clients thrilled with their new landscape.

Training and guidance is given in all areas to help you further your skills and this ensures our high standards are maintained.
