Certification Details
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- State License Verification (required within 30 days of start)
- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (required for all RN/LVN candidates prior to start)
- Registered Nurse position in Columbus, Ohio at James Cancer Hospital.
- Mixed Acuity - PCU and MS patients.
- Oncology experience preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required.
- EPIC experience required.
- Skills: IV starts, Telemetry, Tracheostomy management.
- Patient ratio: 1:5.
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required.
- EPIC experience required.
- Oncology experience preferred but not required.
- No set schedule, no set weekend, no block schedule.
- The facility determines the complete schedule, which could possibly include working every weekend.
- Self-schedule requests are allowed for preferred scheduling before finalizing the schedule.
- First week of orientation is Monday to Friday dayshift, followed by 36 hours of on-unit orientation with a preceptor.
- Unit-Specific Competency Exam Required.
- Required if candidate is using a compact license from any state other than Ohio.
