Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support State License Verification NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) Job Details Title : Cross Train to Oncology Program D / N Rot / PCU / AO 1 year experience required in PCU / Stepdown. Oncology preferred, NOT required - WILL TRAIN Familiarity with Pyxis medication system required. 1st time travelers accepted. EPIC charting experience REQUIRED. Nurse-to-patient ratios adjusted based on acuity. Flexibility to float to different units within the same specialty. Regular work schedule of 36 to 40 shifts per week during orientation, then 36 shifts afterward. Rotating day and night shifts every 4 weeks. Mandatory availability for alternating weekend shifts. Job Requirements BCLS and ACLS certifications required. Required Skills : Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias, Knowledge of Rapid Response Teams, Competency in gastrointestinal care, Proficient in feeding tube care and management, Skilled in IV therapy and phlebotomy, Previous experience with blood product administration, Understanding of peripheral line care and management, Proficiency in starting IVs. Preferred Experience : Previous experience in oncology, specifically in inpatient oncology and / or outpatient chemo infusion center.
