Registered Nurse position at James Cancer Hospital
Specialty : Acute Leukemia and Hematology
12 Hour Nights
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
Patient Age Group : Adults, Geriatrics
Staffing Ratios : Goal is 1 : 4, but can be 1 : 5
Variable weekends based on unit needs
Self-schedule requests accepted
Orientation : First week Mon-Fri dayshift, Second week 36 hours on-unit orientation with a preceptor
Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls prevention
Job Requirements
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Chemo certification required
Experience in MS / Tele and Telemetry
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Telemetry monitoring
IV therapy / Phlebotomy
Blood Product Administration
Central line blood draw
PICC line management
Starting IVs
Schedule Information
12 Hour Night shifts

Self-scheduling accepted
Unit Specific Information
Unit-Specific Competency Exam Required
Additional Details
Required if candidate is using a compact license from any state other than Ohio
