James Coleman Signature Gallery of Saint Augustine, FL is an established fine art gallery located in the heart of downtown St. Augustine, FL. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing and career minded individual to join our team. As an Art Consultant/Salesperson, you will play a crucial role in developing relationships with prospective clients and assisting them in acquiring exceptional pieces of art.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and needs
- Provide expert guidance on art selection, history, and care
- Complete sales transactions and provide customer service
- Contribute to the overall success and positive culture of our gallery
- Full-time commitment (32-36 hours weekly)
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for art and a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs unassisted
- Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work weekends *required
- Upbeat, positive, and friendly attitude
