Job Description
The Quality Manager will oversee the quality control laboratory and manage the development of quality technicians. This role requires collaboration with the plant management team to address and solve quality issues as needed, ensuring compliance with corporate quality policies and business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensures quality assurance and quality control of final products.
- Troubleshoots daily quality issues by analyzing results of data collected from testing methods.
- Solves and prevents future issues by implementing corrective actions and communicating status to the plant management team.
- Supports corporate quality policies and standards to ensure final product meets quality specifications and customer expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of statistical process control.
- Advanced skills with personal computer software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting quality issues and root cause analysis.
- Able to understand, comply with, and communicate the Company's quality policy.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Field or Quality Management.
- 1 or more years of experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role.
- 5 or more years of management experience in a high volume fast-paced manufacturing environment.
