James Imaging has been an award-winning provider of office equipment, software technologies, and services in southeast Wisconsin for over 40 years. We have been supporting our clients with tier-one products and outstanding service to ensure they have the tools to communicate and share their important documents quickly and efficiently.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solution Support Engineer to join our growing team. This position requires a strong understanding of workflow document solutions and exceptional problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and guidance to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their document management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for various document management systems, including but not limited to: DocuWare, and OnBase.
- Analyze and resolve client issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Configure and customize document management systems to meet client needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent and high-quality support.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential system issues.
- Work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in IT or a related field is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience providing technical support for workflow document solutions.
- Proven experience with DocuWare and at least one of the following document management systems: DocStar, OnBase, Laserfiche, M-Files, and SharePoint.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with C# programming is highly desirable. Relevant certifications are a plus.
