Position Responsibilities:

Plan and execute engaging lessons for a variety of high school mathematics courses.
Collaborate with faculty to design/revise curriculum and learning expereinces to meet the needs of students of varying abilities.
Accurately assess student mastery of mathematics standards.
Regularly communicate with parents/guardians and relevant school staff on student academic progress.
Assist with the development of educational plans for students with disabilities and English Language Learners.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Secondary Math

Certification:

Candidates must possess a teaching certificate in Secondary Mathematics or have a letter indicating acceptance into an alternative pathways program that will lead to Secondary Mathematics certification in South Carolina.

Salary Category: Teacher

Work Schedule: 190 days

Work Hours: 7:45 am - 3:45 pm

Other: Position is eligible for a $10,000 signing bonus distributed over four years.
