JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for maintaining the Raiser’s Edge/Blackbaud Database
- Coordinate Development Events and Mailings.
- Receive and follow administrative schedules/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures.
- Type, file, and distribute correspondence as directed.
- Answer telephones, make appointments, run errands, take and deliver messages, etc., as directed.
- Receive donor payments and issue/mail receipts as necessary.
- Post and payments as necessary/required on Blackbaud donation software.
- Type letters, reports, statements, minutes of meetings, agendas, etc., as necessary/directed.
- Maintain files and other records as directed.
- Prepare/mail statements, letters, and/or other correspondence to residents, guardians, etc., as necessary.
- Arrange for meetings, conferences, etc., as directed.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Certification, Registration, or Licensure: None
Minimum Education: Associates Degree required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum Experience: At least two years of administrative support staff experience and experience with donation tracking software preferably Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge.

• May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.

• Works in office areas as well as throughout the facility.
• Moves intermittently during working hours.
• Subject to frequent interruptions.
• Works beyond normal working hours, weekends and holidays other shifts, and in other positions when necessary.
• Is subject to call back during emergency conditions (e.g., severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.).
• Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.
• Communicates with nursing personnel, and other department personnel.
• Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel, visitors, etc.
• Is involved with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, government agencies, etc., under all conditions and circumstances.
• Is subject to injury from falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc., throughout the workday, as well as reactions from dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoke, and other air contaminants.
• Is subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including potential exposure to TB and the AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses.
• May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
