James Lane is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Manager to join our growing team in Wichita Falls. This role offers the chance to lead procurement processes, manage inventory operations, and build lasting vendor relationships within the HVAC, Plumbing, and Construction industries.
What You'll Do:
Manage inventory levels to meet project demands and seasonal requirements.
Source and procure materials, parts, and equipment based on project specifications and timelines.
Process purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and ensure effective communication with teams.
Establish and nurture vendor and supplier relationships, including negotiating favorable terms.
Proactively identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
Oversee return and exchange procedures across departments.
Maintain detailed documentation of all purchasing activities.
Collaborate with warehouse management and internal departments to address procurement challenges.
Deliver exceptional customer service to internal teams and external suppliers.
What You Bring:
Experience: 3-5 years of purchasing experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or Construction preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficient with procurement software, inventory management systems, and standard office software.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual Spanish preferred.
Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve issues independently and make strategic purchasing decisions.
Organization: Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
Licenses & Certifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required).
Forklift certification or ability to attain certification upon employment (preferred).
