General Information :
James Madison University (JMU) School of Nursing invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in the nursing leadership graduate program. This 10-month full-time appointment at the rank of assistant professor will begin in January 2026. The School of Nursing (SON) offers CCNE accredited Baccalaureate, Master's, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. The responsibilities of this position will focus on nursing leadership graduate program needs in online teaching, clinical practicum oversight, MSN and DNP project supervision, service, and scholarship. Duties and Responsibilities :
The successful candidate will :
- Teach online and in-person.
- Supervise practicum and / or DNP project development.
- Serve as an academic advisor for graduate nursing students.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching; scholarship; and professional, community, and / or university service.
